The following symptoms require medical attention

If you have any of the following risk factors, we recommend that you consult with your doctor even if you have no symptoms.

Risk factors

Most ischemic heart diseases, which account for a large proportion of heart diseases, are caused by arteriosclerosis due to thickened and hardened coronary artery walls. Factors aggravating arteriosclerosis are called risk factors. The major risk factors are:

  • Hypertension
  • Lack of exercise
  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Stress
  • Smoking
  • Hyperlipidemia
  • Obesity
  • Hyperuricemia

With westernized diet habits and increasingly stressful lives, we have been frequently exposed to these risk factors.

If you have any of the above risk factors, we recommend that you consult with your doctor even if you have no symptoms.

The following symptoms require medical attention!

Please note that the following symptoms suggest the progression of disease in many cases.

Palpitations
If you feel a sudden increase in heartbeat and strong and fast palpitations when you are at rest, heart disease is suspected.

Shortness of breath
If you feel strong shortness of breath or breathing difficulty during light movement such as going up and down stairs or holding heavy baggage, which usually does not cause shortness of breath, you need medical attention.

Chest pain
Chest pain from angina pectoris often occurs in the center of chest. The pain is usually explained as heavy, tightening, clenching, clogging, burning, stabbing, etc.

Swelling
If you have unusual swelling which remains after it has been pressed with a finger, and is accompanied by a puffy sensation, you need medical attention.

Back pain
The sudden occurrence of severe back pain as though it were cut with a knife is a symptom that may be very dangerous.

If you have any coronary risk factors such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity, hyperuricemia, etc., we recommend that you consult with a specialist physician even if you do not have the above symptoms.

□ Check the degree of angina pectoris.
□ Clenching pain in the center of the chest
□ Chest pain persisting for one minute or longer
□ Chest pain due to daily activities
□ Cold sweat at the time of chest pain

→ If you have any of the above symptoms, angina pectoris is suspected.

□ A single attack persists for 15 minutes or longer accompanied by cold sweat.
□ Drugs that you usually take have been less effective.
□ Attack that occurred only during exercise appears even during a time of rest.
□ Attack appeared within one month, and recently it occurs many times.

→If you have any of the above symptoms, severe angina pectoris is suspected.

If you have any of the above symptoms, consult with a specialist physician without hesitation.
