Healthcare Asia Awards honor outstanding hospitals across Asia that go beyond conventional care standards to deliver innovative healthcare services and make a lasting impact on their communities.
Nagoya Kyoritsu Hospital began offering medical services for international patients—including medical tourism—in 2014. Since then, it has welcomed more than 18,000 international patients in total. In fiscal year 2024 alone, over 2,700 international patients received treatment, including advanced procedures such as Focused Ultrasound Treatment (FUS).
To meet the wide-ranging needs of international patients, the hospital has made steady progress in the internationalization of its services. This includes multilingual signage and information throughout the facility, development of comprehensive manuals for international patients, and the availability of special private rooms. In addition, a specialized department was established within the Kaikoukai Healthcare Group to support international patients, providing interpretation services in five languages.
